I love today. Glitter. Pink. Lace. Frills. Candy. Adorable cards. Fun love songs. All things heart-shaped. An excuse to wear pink polka dots and high heels. Its love.
Today, I woke up in my room at the Fialas, which is already decked out in vintage pink everywhere.
I got ready and Whitney and I found our way upstairs, where Trina was making her famous Swedish pancakes. They were just as amazing as always!!
We went into Colorado Springs and ventured to Colorado Coffee Merchants who, by the way, give most Seattle roasters some crazy competition. Perfect lattes, every time. Eric, the owner, is an incredible man and new friend, who is passionate about both coffee and people. I am a fan.
This afternoon, Whitney and I ventured to Will Fialas school for his Valentine party. Fourth graders rock. It made me miss the days of passing out little cards, decorating envelopes to put them in, & choosing the appropriate conversational sweetheart for my desk mate. It was such a fun blast to the past. We set up a photo booth and each kiddo adorned themselves in mustaches, feathered boas, disguise glasses and noses, glitzy rings, and silly hats. Such a sweet party. Here is Will…he took dress up to a whole other level…
Tonight we will have a Star Wars movie marathon, a cake pop making session, & epic bedtime story telling. I’m in love with these boys and so glad “Whip Cream”, (the boys nickname for Whitney) is in Colorado today!!
